Looking for a compatible format in final cut pro 7 when capturing video using the Elgato software. The ouput from Elgato is mpeg 4 (not H 264) at 4:3 aspect ratio. Whatever format I set on fcp 7, it asks me to change it to the format of the vdeo I'm bringing in. 4) A device on the USB bus may be causing the problem. Solution: Unplug all other devices from the USB bus, and then try the Elgato Gaming hardware again. If that helps, then reconnect the devices to your Mac or PC, one at a time, trying the Elgato Gaming hardware when each device is attached. If you find that one particular device is causing the conflict, then please disconnect that device.
